CWF01Disciples Women (formerly called Christian Women's Fellowship) groups are called Circles. Currently we have one Circle, meeting once a month for fellowship, Bible study and personal study. The circle has fund-raising and service projects.

Study Materials

"Common Roots" is the theme for the 2006-07 New Day for Christian Women. The fifth year of this study program looks at the common roots of wisdom in the women of Kenya, our historical foremothers, Biblical women and current day church women.

Each chapter in "Common Roots" examines one of nine areas of wisdom.
The chapters are:
1. Wisdom of Priorities: Keeping in Mind What's Important
2. Wisdom of Abundance: Faith, Gratitude Enable Sharing
3. Wisdom of Hospitality: Being Ready to Extend a Gracious Welcome
4. Wisdom of Sisterhood: Drawing on Other Women's Strength
5. Wisdom of Survival: What Tools Lie Within You?
6. Wisdom of Risking: When Circumstances Call for Boldness
7. Wisdom of Listening for God's Call: Play Your Unique Part
8. Wisdom of Creativity and Celebration: Living joyously
9. Wisdom of Faithfulness: Gift of God's Love

Service Projects

Each year the CWF has one or two service projects to help other people. The new service project will be announced next month.
